Different Aspects Of The Sunday Morning Church Service

Most churches conduct their services on Sundays. The mode of conducting them differs depending on believers and their denominations. There are a number of formalities of going about the services. The formalities can be changed to suit the occasions. The Sunday morning church service is commonly conducted by a priest or the local pastor in charge of church in question.

Different denominations follow different calendar of events. There are those who can worship on any day of the week. Most of Christians put aside their work on Sundays so that they congregate with others for worship. The Sabbath day fanatics meet on Sabbath day for payer and worship. Most of these denominations have a very high tolerance rates since they believe in one god.

The prayer sessions follow the calendar of events. The calendar is prepared a number of teams which are elected by the congregation. During the election, the church determines who will be entrusted with different duties. The elected team then recruits a preacher. A preacher has to be a devoted man of God who will lead others in the congregation during various prayers sessions.

In most denominations, the Christians gather of Sunday for worship and prayer sessions. The worshiping sessions are guided through by a special team. This team chooses the number of songs too be included in the session. The team leads others in the session as they worship their God. This is then followed a sermon and a prayer session. A pastor in most cases leads these sessions.

The Bible is the main book form which the Christians derive their teachings. The Bible is a collection of holy books written by a number of inspired characters. It collects different stories which are mainly about their experiences in spreading the gospel. The Old Testament dwells on how God saved the ancient generations while the New Testament deals in the spreading of the holy gospel. Depending on the day, the teachings and the prayers are derived from the collection of stories.

The early preachers found in the Old Testament paved way for the new creed of apostles found in the New Testament. As opposed to the early Christians whose main work was to save the older generations form wrath of God, the newer apostles had a mission to spread the gospel. This was the main in the way of converting the non-believers into Christians. The apostles also worked miracles in the event that the non-believers were not contented. The healing of the crippled laid foundation for the modern Christianity.

Most of believers gather on certain occasions. The prayer sessions are one of the times of gathering. During such occasions each of the members in the congregation is given a special time slice to share their life experiences. The prayer sessions are very special for a group of believers. Praying together is seen as way of strengthening the power of beliefs.

During the Sunday morning church service, each of the members in church congregation is expected to share their life experiences with others. Through the sharing, others get to know about the temptations and tribulations they are going through. Such sessions are closed by prayers which focus on asking for courage and strength to overcome the tribulations.
