There is a general improvement of African Social Network in the current age compared to its status some years back. Almost every talk among black people must touch on the aspects of interaction platforms. Because of the increase of access and ownership of handheld devices and availability of unlimited bandwidth, linking to different people in Africa and globally has become easy.

Today, Africa is proud to be a member of the well-known digital world. While to most people this may seem like some sort of magic, the reality remains that Africa is using its Information Technology strategy in a proper way to improve the lives of its people. In fact, the way people communicate is different, communication level has gone a notch higher and companies are coming up with new techniques to reach out to customers.

Research about access to technological devices in Africa indicates that so many people today, than before, have access to cell phones. Further findings reveal that Africa is the second continent after Asia, with the largest mobile phone market in the world. This continent alone has more than 700 million persons who own mobile phones.

The next two years will witness an increase in the number of people using mobile phones. What makes this even truer is that the number of people accessing internet services through mobile phones outnumbers those people accessing the same through personal computers. The reason why there is need to advance the technology level on the continent of Africa is to ensure it meets the spending, purchasing and consumption requirements of the people of Africa.

Most people on the continent access the internet through their mobile phone. In fact, the number of people accessing social platforms through mobile phones outnumbers people using desktop personal computers and laptops to get the same access. This alone, is an enough description that shows how much Africans have taken up great interest on being part of social media platform.

Some research done on social medial like Google plus and Facebook use in Africa shows that over 40 million people are registered members. A further research was carried out to see what devices people use to access these media. The findings indicate that majority are mobile phone subscribers. Because of the large number of users on these platforms, there is a guarantee for further improvements in African market in future.

The upgrade of mobile technology in Africa has not come to an end and by the year 2016, the number of people who are using mobile phones will increase significantly with some using the latest models in the market. This means that the number of people that will have registered accounts on social media will increase significantly. In addition to that, the e-commerce atmosphere of Africa will improve significantly.

African social network has helped bring people from different walks of life together. In addition, they have become the best place to help improve businesses. The task of marketing and selling would be impossible had there been no options like this one.
